Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of Resynq websites, mobile apps, and related services operated by Cadus Labs LLC.

General Nutrition Information

Resynq helps adults understand food data in relation to selected nutrition goals. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. It does not provide prescriptions, a clinician-patient relationship, or an individualized medical nutrition therapy plan. Ask a qualified clinician or registered dietitian about medical questions and changes to a prescribed diet.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the app. Use your own email address and enter the one-time code sent to you to access your account.

Ratings and Food Data

A color and 0–10 score describe a food's fit with a selected general nutrition goal under Resynq's rules. They are not a measure of medical safety, a prohibition, or a guarantee of health outcomes. Portions, preparation, your overall diet, and individual needs matter. A score may be unavailable when data is missing.

Food data may come from Open Food Facts, USDA FoodData Central, and information shown in the app. Products, ingredients, and nutrition labels change. Confirm the selected product and check its current packaging, especially for allergens. Resynq cannot establish that a food is safe for an allergy, pregnancy, medication interaction, or medical condition. Entering a condition does not create a condition-specific rating unless the app expressly supports that use.

Emergencies

Do not use Resynq for emergencies. If you may be experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or seek immediate care.

Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for the information you provide, your account security, and how you use Resynq. Do not use Resynq to violate law, infringe rights, harm others, or interfere with the service.

Content

You retain rights to content you submit. You grant us permission to process it to operate, secure, and support the features you use, as described in our Privacy Policy. Do not enter personal or medical information in food search fields.

Only upload label images you are entitled to use, and remove unrelated personal information. Optional AI transcription can make mistakes and does not verify a product's accuracy or safety. Check all extracted or manually entered values against the label before confirming. A confirmed private draft is not automatically an approved shared product.

If you separately submit a product for catalog review, you authorize review of its evidence and reuse of approved non-personal product facts in the shared catalog. Original photos and your account identifier are not published with those facts. Catalog facts may remain after account deletion. Scoring policies are separately versioned; changing a scoring rule does not authorize changing a product's label facts.

No Warranty

Resynq is provided as available and without warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every use.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cadus Labs LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Resynq.
